Here at Lynx Heli Innovations we are helicopter pilots and fly the same models you do.

From our test experience we desided to design special 300 X dampeners and made it suitable for intense 3D manouvres.

By combining our engineering and helicopter experience we have designed special dampeners that hold the spindle and reduce play to emphasize the quick cyclic input reaction.

Our dampeners will increase the response and the fly precision in your 300 X with standard plastic head or any brand head upgrades parts.

Lynx 300 X dampeners are composed by two pieces - one O-ring to maintain the necessary preload (to remove side by side play) and one bushing in techno-polymer auto-lube to assure maximum load and friction resistance.

These dampeners give your 300 X an incredibly precise feel in the air. The difference is visible, particularly in fast forward flight and with quick pitch changes, ora any complex 3D manouvres

Our tests show that 300X Lynx dampeners are advised when high head speed is requested, specially designed for 3D fly.

4 x 300 X Ultra Dampeners – Bushing

4 x Shims Washer


Before install Lynx 300 X dampeners disassembly the main grip and remove STD dampeners and all STD metal shims. 

Don’t lubricate the O-Ring or any other parts.

1- Install the O-Ring and the Bushing respecting the order shown in the extra picture below. 

2- Install the Bushing - that are simmetrically and can insert in any way

3- Install the Shimm.

4- Install Main Grip.

Once heli assemble, test and in case of cyclic shacking adjust cyclic gain reducing Aileron and Elevator gain.


Lates test show us that 300X once fly high rpm , around 4000 and above need really solid main hub and grip assembly to avoid fluttering. We suggest than to double the washer shims and add 2 pc on each side.

The best combination we test is Ultra dampener with 4 shims instalaltion and Lynx Heavy Duty CNC Center Hub.
